Lyric Hammersmith Theatre today announce casting for their upcoming production of Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband, in association with Bristol Old Vic.

Executive Director and co-CEO Amy Belson will leave the Lyric in May 2026 to take up the position of CEO of the Luton Cultural Trust.

Lyric Hammersmith Theatre have today announced casting for the UK premiere of the Tony Award-winning play Jaja’s African Hair Braiding which runs at the venue from Wednesday 18 March – Saturday 25 April 2026.

Lyric Hammersmith Theatre have today unveiled a number of Little Lyric shows for 2026, lovingly introducing families and young theatre goers to the magic of theatre.

Taking place between Monday 7 – Friday 11 July 2025, it will provide school children access to free creative arts workshops supported and delivered by the Borough’s cultural organisations.

The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre today celebrates the 30th anniversary of its Free First Night scheme, funded by Hammersmith & Fulham Council.
