The Lyric’s work in the community includes distributing over 2,300 tickets every year to anyone working or living in Hammersmith & Fulham through our ‘Free First Night’ scheme. We also work with local schools, giving over 2,000 free tickets and over 10,000 highly subsidised tickets to Hammersmith & Fulham schools to our plays so that every school child in the borough can access theatre. Our programme of work with children and young people is recognised by Arts Council England as a model of best practice and reaches 2,000 people each year, including some of West London’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
